River Cottage Wedding Open Day

Head down to the farm and experience all that a wedding at River Cottage has to offer at the River Cottage Wedding Open Day. Opening its doors from 12pm-3pm on Saturday 21 April, it's an ideal opportunity to check out the venue, with suppliers on hand to inspire you with ideas for your big day.

Located near the picturesque Devon/Dorset border at River Cottage HQ, the rural setting has so much to offer those planning a wedding. From the cosy Mongolian yurt to the famous farmhouse, your wedding can incorporate so many elements designed to amaze. The open day will give you a chance to explore the area, including the al fresco decking and threshing barn, and experience a tractor ride across the valley down to the farm. 

A glass of bubbles in hand, you can also meet a whole host of lovely local suppliers, and try the tasty treats made on-site by the farm's talented chefs. Featuring local, seasonal and organic produce - much of it straight from the kitchen garden - you'll get the chance to ask questions and sample the cuisine, as well as a selection of organic and biodynamic wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks.

For a £2 charity donation, all ticket proceeds go towards HALFF, a local charity that delivers cookery lessons for disadvantaged children, individuals and families as well as older people with heart disease or diabetes. The experienced team at River Cottage will be on hand to show couples around the venue.
