Rachael and Dominic dreamed of tying the knot in a place that was special to them surrounded by their friends and family - so they took the novel step of licensing the family's organic farm and created a unique, romantic and relaxed atmosphere for their wedding.
The ceremony took place in a sixteenth century thatched corn chamber. Rachael arrived on the back of a vintage tractor beneath perfect blue skies; her father then escorted her through an arch of tree branches and down the aisle to music from the Edgerly Quartet. After a highly personal service, the newly weds exited under an arch formed by skis held by Dominic's friends.
The wedding party enjoyed homemade elderflower cordial, Pimm’s and canapés on the lawn of Rosuick Cottage, before weaving their way through the orchard towards the Camel Centre where the reception followed. A beef and a vegetable goulash were served with salad and crusty breads followed by a mouthwatering array of traditional puddings and strawberries and cream.

As the camels looked on, guests relaxed in the sunshine whilst the children played in the giant sand pit. A traditional farmhouse afternoon tea, together with an organic hog roast during the evening reception, ensured appetites were satisfied.

Live band the Blues Connection kicked the revelry off with a swing and
everyone partied into the small hours. As Rachael comments, “It was the
perfect way to round up a perfect day.”
