New WED Cornwall out now!

Welcome to the bridal bible that is the latest issue of WED Cornwall magazine!

A glimpse at the cover gives a hint to the beauty inside. Smack-bang in the middle of one of the hottest summers on record, we shot our cover story under beautiful blue skies and golden sunshine. On the cliffs above Porthleven, the venue of Beacon Crag afforded us incredible backdrops of the south coast, with wild and winding paths perfect for shooting a fashion story crammed with ocean-inspired beauty.

For those who've just got engaged, the practical advice in this issue will help you with those hard-to-make decisions. Whether you're debating DIY decor, making up your mind up on which flowers to have, choosing your bridal hairstyle or weighing up the pros and cons of an outdoor wedding, we've got experts on hand to guide you through. There's also reports on the weddings trends du jour – from vegan wedding food to the honeymoon hip list, so you'll have your finger on the pulse when it comes to planning.

With so much to organise, taking care of yourself in the run-up to your big day is top priority, so follow our tips on wedding wellbeing, while you peruse the most gorgeous gowns, designed to inspire and delight – and have you looking downright incredible.

And for seriously wow-worthy stying, the issue boasts gorgeous shoots from some of the region’s most talented wedding photographers and suppliers. Japanese-inspired styling brings colour and drama to a shoot, while a rustic yurt is the setting for a strong aesthetic of chunky candlesticks, heavy pots and an all-natural woodland backdrop.

However, this issue, the real stars of the show are you! Our real weddings showcase some incredibly personality-packed days where love reigned supreme. From a spring wedding in the middle of a blizzard, and a sun-dappled ceremony in an enchanted forest, to the old, worn grandeur of a private members' club, our versatile county really set the scene for the best of Cornish wedding venues.

Finally, we asked those who've been married for decades for their best piece of marriage advice – and, wow, were their responses eye-opening! So as well as jewellery, beauty and dresses galore in this issue, you can also be sure you're starting your happily-ever-after on the right track.

Wed is available from stockists across Cornwall, including WHSmith, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Martin McColl and independent newsagents. It's also available to order online
