The Last Days of Steam Shoot

Article Published: Friday 28th July, 2017 - 12:33pm

Prepare to be beguiled by this fabulous fashion shoot featuring some seriously swoon-worthy wedding looks from a wonderfully romantic era.

The Last Days of Steam was shot on location at Devon's beautiful Kingston Estate and South Devon Railway by brilliant local wedding photographer, Emma Stoner. A host of top wedding suppliers came together to create the spellbinding scene, from dresses and flowers to hair, make-up, cakes and vintage prop hire.

"I wanted to create an authentic vintage feel based on the last days of steam and drawing on the local landscape in South Devon," explains Emma.

"The 1920s was a very social time and all about fun so I really wanted this to come across in the shoot. It was really fantastic to shoot at Buckfastleigh train station as there are so many great backdrops. Kingston Estate with its elegant, rustic charm was the perfect venue for this vintage shoot."
