Holne Park House to Host Bridal Fundraiser For Wedding Charity

Holne Park House are doing something truly amazing within Wedding World by helping to give the gift of marriage to terminally ill brides and grooms.

Working alongside the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation, they are hosting a Bridal Tea Party event on 19th April (from 1pm) in order to raise vital funds for this extraordinary charity, inviting brides and grooms past and present along with their friends and family to attend.

Guests will be treated to a classic afternoon tea ahead of an auction and raffle where a whole host of lavish prizes will be up for grabs - including Holne Park House donating itself as an entirely free wedding venue!

Other raffle prizes include a meal for two at Meat 59, Torquay, floral bouquet from Hollyhocks Florists, hamper of goodies from Total Event Hire and six bottles of Prosecco from St Austell Brewery.

Meanwhile, auction lots will feature a wedding dress donated by the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation, full wedding day photo package and wedding album from Momentos photography, corporate training day for up to 12 delegates, including lunch from Holne Park House and  1/2 day activity from CRS, cupcake decorating class for up to 4 people from Cloudberry Cakes, tour of Exeter Chiefs grounds including the changing rooms and other restricted areas and much more. There will also be a 'wedding accessory amenisty', should guests have any wedding items to donate - from bridal & bridesmaid wedding dresses, table decorations, jewellery or other wedding assocated items - who are asked to please bring them along to donate to the charity.

What's more, to add to the occasion, brides past are encouraged to relive their special day and wear their wedding dress again! Other bridal party members are also encouraged to wear their outfits again and all other guests are welcome to come dressed for a celebration.

Naomi Thomas, founder of The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation said: “This event is a great opportunity for past and current brides to share experiences and tips, as well as have a fantastic day out. The day is certain to be fabulous and we are delighted to be part of it.”

Laura Coleman, Wedding Co-ordinator at Holne Park House added: “We wanted to hold an event with a difference this year and decided to open up our gorgeous venue to brides and their loved ones, all for an extremely good cause. We can’t wait to see everyone and would like to thank the local firms that are supporting this special occasion.”

Tickets for the event will cost £5 for adults and £3 for children. This includes a scone with cream and jam, tea, coffee and squash plus a raffle ticke, tickets can be purchased on the day.
