From the moment you step into Glazebrook House Hotel, you feel as if you've stepped into a veritable Wonderland. With its whimsical collection of treasures that inspires from room to room, the theme of 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' is subtly woven through the bold and beautiful boutique decor.
"Our shoot reflects the deep grey walls, sparkles and gilded palette of the surroundings," says Tracy Edwards of Blue Fizz Events. "The tiny handmade mirrors as place cards and 'drink me' bottles displayed on looking glasses are a nod to 'Alice in Wonderland'."
The bridal and groom's attire echo the sumptuous styling of the setting. "We achieved our look with rich velvets and tartan for our groom, which brought a timeless Lewis Carroll look bang up to date. Our Alice wore a stunning gown that glittered in the light of the chandeliers and echoed the blush colours found in the stunning tea tray wall in the dining room," explains Tracy. "The hair was a strong and powerful take on a vintage look, and the make-up gave our bride the equally empowered look of a modern girl in a timeless world."
The cakes sit perfectly within the grey and blush scheme, with a glimmer of gold against the moody grey base. The voluptuous flower displays bring the look together beautifully, finishing this decadent wonderland wedding scheme with a fanciful twist.
