Artographer: a fabulous new wedding service!

An eagerly anticipated unique new wedding service is now ready to take bookings for 2015, following an overwhelming response at its launch at Pengenna Manor earlier this year.
Pengenna Manor's 'A Most Curious Wedding Experience' saw the unveiling of Toby Buckmaster's brand new Artographer service. A brand new service - and one of a kind in Cornwall - Toby is offering his professional skills as an 'artist in residence', creating sketches and paintings of key moments during weddings and other events; compiling a record to cherish forever.
Located in a secluded valley near Wadebridge, Pengenna Manor has medieval origins, and has been lovingly-restored as an intimate wedding venue; the historical setting was the perfect place to trial the new Artographer service in front of a crowd of visitors to the recent showcase.
"Pengenna Manor is a stunning location full of character," said Toby. "I was able to sketch and paint couples and families as they toured the grounds and caught a glimpse of what their own special day could be like."
The painting Toby created on the day has now been presented to Richard Blewett, owner of Pengenna Manor, to celebrate a successful event and the launch of the new service.
Richard comments: "The guests loved Toby's evocative images; they captured the essence and feel of the setting beautifully. Many people came away excited after speaking to Toby about sketching or painting their weddings, inspired by what they saw here at Pengenna Manor. It's fantastic to hear he is now taking bookings for 2015 as The Artographer and I'm sure he will become a regular at our weddings here."
Toby offers several different packages, which combine a number of sketches or a large painted canvas showing a montage of key moments, such as the exchange of vows or the cutting of the cake. His style is impressionistic, with a sense of drama and movement - capturing the character of individuals and alternately conveying poignancy or celebration in equal measure.
