Enjoy a spot of Champagne Afternoon Tea - the Scarlet way - by escaping to the heavenly hotel and sampling their gorgeous food and drink amongst luxury interiors while admiring north Cornwall's stunning sea views.
Boasting a plethora of places to simply sit, relax and unwind, The Scarlet's range of terraces, lounges and outdoor spaces provide plenty of opportunities for you to find your own personal haven. Tea is served daily between 3pm - 5pm, but guests are warmly invited to arrive as early as they like to find their space and commence a feeling of unadulterated calm.
Designed by the Scarlet's head chef Tom Hunter and his team, each element of the tea itself is a highly considered affair - the homemade cakes and pastries are delicate and delicious, and always seasonally crafted with a Scarlet twist; and the scones are served with the Scarlet's 'Red Stuff' homemade jam, with recipes originally mixed in Tom Hunter's home kitchen, along with local clotted cream.
Meanwhile, the sandwiches - produced from artisan bread - are made to order and to suit a range of dietary requirements; and the tea - exclusively grown in the UK - is from Cornwall's Tregothnan Estate.
Artistically served on an eye-catching stand, each one is handmade to order by the Scarlet's dedicated pastry chef Scot and is continually topped-up by the dedicated, but unobtrusive, care and attention of the Scarlet team.
