Behind the scenes of our 'Art of Romance' bridal fashion shoot

On a bright but cold day in December, the Wed team decamped to the studio of talented and highly respected artist Naomi Frears overlooking Porthmeor Beach in St Ives. St Ives is famed for its quality of light, which draws artists to the picturesque seaside town from all over the world - and we were hoping to infuse our shoot with that beautiful light and the creative atmosphere which inhabits its winding streets.

The concept behind the shoot was celebrating the wedding dress as an exquisite work of art. With a top-notch team comprising photography dream team Rachel and Chris Kevern, make-up artist Ella Butler, hair stylist Sarah Hooper of Capella, model Charlotte Louise Baker, assistants Jenna and Morwenna Matthews, and Brendan and I (editor Rebecca!), we spent a fun and fabulous day capturing these divine dresses in an extraordinary setting.
