The Prop Factory, Devon's home of super-cool props, decor, signage and games, has launched a brilliant new collection of event furniture, which is now available for hire. Guaranteed to be a hit with couples seeking standout furnishings, the collection of tables and chairs has been specially developed and crafted in line with customer requests.
The new range includes pastel coloured chairs and white tables, plus farmhouse solid wood trestle tables, round tables, benches and coffee tables. The new line of furniture complements the vintage, rustic style of The Prop Factory's fun decorations, such as their vintage garden games and fairground props.
"Our brides and grooms have told us that they like to condense their suppliers and find all things in one place. We're so pleased to be able to offer this and provide more scope for venue decor," says company director, Carmen Croxall.
A close attention to detail and user-friendliness has been key throughout the design process: all of the chairs and tables can be folded away to make room for a dance floor or more space, and the tables are easily flattened thanks to a design comprising just four bolts securing each one steadily in place. What's more, the round farmhouse tables combine the social element of a round table with the space to eat food comfortably alongside others with the look of a vintage trestle. "We made a conscious decision to make our tables slightly larger than others we've seen, so they still fit within smaller spaces but don't compromise on guest comfort," explains Carmen. "They've been designed and made with ease of set-up and mobility in mind. We're so proud of the quality and the in-house craftsmanship we have here at The Prop Factory that has meant we've been able to craft these specifically with our customers' hiring needs in mind." All made of quality wood, the tables can be dressed up or left undressed for a rustic finish.
